Our first long term solution is having diverse leadership within our companies. Obviously it may take some time but that is why it is a long term solution. Don't only hire minorities, choose the person with the best resume but don't bring in any bias towards a candidate.
Another long term solution is Data Collection and Analysis. It may take some time before you have enough data in order to implement this but you can research the hiring data, promotions, pay equity, and employee satisfaction to make sure your company isn't hiring biasedly.
