Unfortunately job discrimination is very common.
There have been many experiments which have shown hiring discrimination based on names. People would send a typically sounding white name and someone with a black name with the same resume. People with the cacusian name would get an opportunity for an interview while the person with a black name would get denied.
Equity In Action (EIA) is here to spread awareness and hopefully make a difference to change the system.
